Dry Kiln
Tidewater Lumber's dry kiln allows for a reduced inventory of pine lumber, compliance with the HT program, and assurance that our materials are dried to specifications for our customers.
We operate an American Wood Dryers kiln which has a drying capacity of 65,000 BDFT per charge.
We heat our kiln with No. 2 diesel fuel through a Powerflame burner and a Superior boiler. The dry kiln is operated from our control office which is connected to the boiler room.
